Razorblade
Fairytales is a highly charged album
delving further into Rainbow Blight's
twisted world of dolls, decay and
death. Every song tells a story, either bestowing old tales with
a
shocking, morbid twist or weaving brand new tales for a decidedly
grown-up storybook.
This new album is the result of multi-instrumental
mad scientist
Optimus Crime's continued experimentation. Tracks like Malevolent
Symphony, Bloody Ballerina and Porcelain exhibit the unbridled
evolution of what radio show Industrial Zoning (on 90FM WWSP) called "...the sound of
toys breaking. Dark, brooding, beautiful." Also
described as "children's toy
instruments wired in blood and amplified a
thousand-fold, every berserk childhood fantasy of playground warfare
run amuck" by interviewer and Rock-n-Roll author Sleazegrinder
of The
New York Waste.
