Bridging the gap between Gwen Stefani, Rob Zombie
and Nine Inch Nails, Razorblade Fairytales is the raw bounce and burn
style of female fronted rock our musical landscape has been missing,
until now.
The joint effort of a multi-instrumentalist mad scientist and living
doll,
this album blends the synthetic programming and precision of industrial
with the rough organic edges that can only be woven of rage, despair
and twisted love.
Written, recorded and performed in New York City, the songs of
Razorblade
Fairytales resonated first with those witnessing them performed live at
such
debaucherous events as the Black and Blue Ball at Limelight, in the
infamous Geiger Room. Taking a life of it's own the album carved it's
way through the minds of one deviant to another, being adopted by fans
of death rock, gothic and horror punk, before infiltrating the minds of
unwary fringe loving rock fans everywhere.
Combining overdriven keyboards, distorted guitars and lyrics of
nightmares
past and present, Razorblade Fairytales is an intensely personal
collection
of fairytales real and imagined, survived by the siren and scientist
that
are Hate In The Box.
